Me: okay hear me out. when I was a young child I went to France and we got a squirtle toy, right? and on the bottom there were these little metal bit that when you touched them both, the squirtle would speak. except we got it in France, right? so it was a French squirtle. so it would say “BEN BENNY” super loudly. anyway, so now whenever anyone says dennys my brain automatically goes “DEN DENNYS” and also I happen to know what squirtle sounds like in French. thats just knowledge that I have
